Common questions

How do round-ups work?

Each purchase on your linked account rounds up to the next dollar. A $4.35 purchase becomes $5.00, and the extra 65¢ goes to your chosen school. Round-ups are collected together, up to the monthly limit you set.

Can SchoolJar see my bank login?

No. Bank connections go through Plaid, and SchoolJar never sees or stores your bank username or password.

How do I pause or stop round-ups?

Open the app and tap Pause on the home screen. You can also change your monthly limit, change your school or disconnect your bank at any time.

How do I delete my account?

Email info@schooljar.org from the email or phone number on your account, and we will delete your account and personal information.

Does my school see what I give?

No. Schools see total amounts raised, never which family gave what.
